In-Home Dog Training

across West Essex and East Hertfordshire

Busy lifestyle juggling many things and finding it hard to commit to classes each week?  Feel more comfortable in your own home rather than in a group class situation?  Mobility or transport issues making it difficult to get to classes?  No problem!  I can come to you.

Using reward based training techniques with an understanding and adaptable way of teaching, I offer a range of package options suited to you and your puppy or adult dog.

Puppy Life Skills Package

The in-home Puppy Life Skills Course are where I coach you to train your puppy at home and can start even before your puppy arrives.  Held across 5 sessions (first session a theory) and costing £230 you also receive a *FREE* copy of the Life Skills for Puppies book, a comprehensive pack of handouts and goodies too.  Sessions can be fitted in to slot around your commitments.

Why do the training yourself?

Let me do the hard work for you!  Achieve faster results and take the hassle out of puppy training by booking the in-home puppy training package.  Here I come to your home (you don’t need to be there for this but are absolutely welcome to observe) and I train your puppy for you.  I will help your puppy learn to stop jumping up, come when called, walk nicely and calm down, all in a positive, reward based way.  Costing £460 including the initial consultation to discuss individual aims for you and your family, the sessions are then 3 visits per week for 3 weeks, 1 hour per visit.  You only need to be present at the initial consult and the last two sessions where I transition the training over to you so you can continue to maintain your puppy’s new behaviours.  *FREE* copy of the Life Skills for Puppies book and a diary of your individual dog’s progress provided.

“Our course with Louise gave Fidget and I a big start in the use of reward based training. The location is perfect – lots of real life distractions to be coped with during the session, which makes park life much easier to handle on morning walks…..The homework is great fun – the balls in the muffin tray game is a particular favourite. Thanks to Louise from Fidget and me!!”
