Talking Dogs Scentwork
Dogs see the world through their nose. Their sense of smell is up to 100,000x more sensitive than ours!
Teaching scentwork to our dogs is a great way to keep them mentally stimulated. It is a low impact game to teach which means that scentwork is perfect for any dog of any age and physical ability.
Scentwork tires your dogs out in a very short space of time!
Talking Dogs Scentwork is a fantastic way of teaching your dog to be a detector dog. They perform active indications which means they get to play with (or eat!) their find so there’s no pre-training required and we can get searching right from the beginning.

Meet Louise Bater
Louise Bater, MSc CAB, BSc (hons), APDT, UK (01275), ABTC Registered Animal Training Instructor, is an experienced reward based dog trainer and behaviourist (working towards behaviour accreditations) . She has enjoyed competing in an array of dog sports including Agility, Flyball, Hoopers and Canicross with her own dogs.

“Our course with Louise gave Fidget and I a big start in the use of reward based training. The location is perfect – lots of real life distractions to be coped with during the session, which makes park life much easier to handle on morning walks…..The homework is great fun – the balls in the muffin tray game is a particular favourite. Thanks to Louise from Fidget and me!!”
